Will Cardwell
General Partner at Courage Ventures Funds; Co-founder, Aalto Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE)

Will Cardwell is the General Partner at Courage Ventures Funds. He has sixteen years in the Finnish startup industry, including six years in venture capital and a number of years as an entrepreneur.

Mr. Cardwell is the Adjunct Professor at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, who serves as a mentor in several accelerators, including xEdu, Vertical Health, and LevelUp (Kotka) Accelerators in Helsinki and Espoo. He was in charge of coordinating Aalto University’s strategic university partnerships, as well as being involved in teams that work with corporate partnerships. In 2010, he co-founded and ran the Aalto Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE), Aalto’s tech transfer and spinout arm. Aalto is Finland’s leading combined business, engineering and design school with over 20 thousand students, and a pioneer in multidisciplinary education and research.

Before that, I ran Finland’s largest Technology Incubator, Technopolis Ventures, with over 200 customers large and small around Finland as well as St, Petersburg and Estonia.
